Hi, I am Swapna Nair , Mom to a spunky 6 year old little big girl, Wife to the sweetest multi talented guy and a relative newbie in the crafting world.
I am a Human Resource professional who decided to pursue her passion for crafting after working for almost a decade in the corporate world . Even though I am a Bombay girl, I moved to the garden city of Bangalore, India 2 years ago and later followed my husband to the US.
While I loved my corporate career, I always felt I was missing out on some thing bigger. All the while I kept pursuing small DIYs and crafts in my free time (which was barely any). When my daughter was born I started collecting small memorabilia like hospital tags , her first bow and little things like that and became determined to make her baby book on my own . After multiple attempts, trial & error and learning from a few video tutorials, I managed to finish her book. That pretty much got me thinking about taking it up full time.
A few of friends , my husband and sister urged (read nagged :D) me to continue crafting and to my surprise I received some positive feedback and a few commission requests which kept me going. (Crafting of course 🙂 ). Even today I am happiest when I Craft .. When I flip through that first baby book I made for my princess, it brings back a flood of the most beautiful memories for me.

While past 2 years have been a roller coaster for me on a personal front , moving cities and then countries not sparing me enough time for me to craft. I have somehow managed to take along my love for crafting and DIYs which has truly given me a whole new direction in my life…. and I am loving every little bit of it..

I love taking people on a journey through my art. I started my crafting journey with scrapbooking , but as of late I have also started enjoying card making, creating mini albums (baby albums being one of my favorites) and doing mixed media art. I especially enjoy making interactive cards and albums with a lot fun elements to it that make it an unforgettable experience. I occasionally indulge in upscaling objects in the house and DIYs, which you might see me post on the blog from time to time.
I am really inspired by the works of various artists online and am genuinely in awe of the amount of creative talent that is present out there .
I also strongly believe that when artists support one another and appreciate each others work the whole community benefits from it making the this overwhelming world of social media so much more easier .
